Ep. 135 - Keeping things the same...
may not always be a desirable plan.
Today, we dig into several quotes outlined in one of Dan Miller’s books:
The Rudder of the Day – Stories & Wisdom to Kick Start Your Workday
- "Keeping things the same may not always be a desirable plan." - Dan Miller
- “We cannot discover new oceans until we have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” – Muriel Chen
- “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
Not only do we dig into those quotes, but we talk about my:
- Failing to plan...and how that's contributing to my inaction
- Information overload contributes to analysis paralysis
- Especially over the last 10 years…
- Information overload also contributes to loss of focus
Most of us are not in tune with this cyclical nature and accordingly we spend most of our lives miserable...yet it's difficult to realize due to the comfort and familiarity of life.
Choose not to be miserable and change your life...let us know how you’re doing it!
